Wall & Floor Tiler

Position: Full Time

Salary Range – $65,000 – $85,000 per year

Responsibilities and Duties:

We are looking for an honest, hard-working, and self-motivated tiler with wall & floor tile experience to fill in-house position to assist supervisors in the completion of our construction projects.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

Follow safety rules and regulations to move tile or other materials to rooftops. Measure, cut, and prepare tile, sheet metal, or tile to fit the designated area. Using machinery such as saws, levels, tile cutters, and nail guns to secure tiles or other materials to a roof

Requirements for the Ideal Candidate:

Experience is an advantage for the tradesman roles. The ideal candidate for this position must be well organised, reliable with a can-do attitude, should have good/intermediate written and verbal communication skills, the ability to multi-task.

Project Manager

Position: Full Time

Salary Range – $150,000 – $200,000 per year

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Plan and co-ordinate projects to deliver outcomes, which meet the required standards, on time and to a budget while satisfying the needs of the Company
  • Lead and control resources, including employees, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure outstanding performance is achieved in respect of performance indicators including Program, Budget, Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S), quality and business strategy.
  • Develop and contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment at all times.
  • To be responsible for the profitability of allocated projects.
  • Communicate openly and honestly at all times.
  • Identify and predict planning, programming and resourcing issues that require resolution.
  • Resolve proactively all planning, programming and resourcing issues.
  • Ensure Compliance with the Code of Practice for the construction Industry.
  • Generate construction programmes to ensure detailed planning of safety, resources, time, cost and quality
  • Deliver projects in accordance to building specifications, standards and manage the specific contractual requirements
  • Manage tender interviews, letting of contracts, including subcontractor negotiations
  • Implement and manage project delivery systems.

Qualifications and Experience requirements:

  • Formal qualifications in Construction Management or Civil Engineering
  • Experience with Private Developer/Builder in Australia
  • Experience within trades services, or another related building industry service

Civil Engineering Draftsperson

Position: Full Time

Salary Range – $70,000 – $85,000 per year

Responsibilities and Duties:

Reporting directly to the unit manager. Attend meetings and liaise with local and state government officers, external consultants, contractors, clients and other stake holders. Provision of civil and hydraulic design and drafting development engineering services. Opportunity to work on multiple and a diverse range of projects ranging from small to large residential and commercial subdivision and small to medium size building projects.

Architectural Draftsperson

Position: Full Time

Salary Range – $70,000 – $85,000 per year

Responsibilities and Duties:

 

We have positions available for Architectural Draftsperson starting immediately with following duties:

Preparing preliminary sketches, working drawings and specifications. Preparing, editing and revising plans, maps, charts and drawings.
Coordinating works programs. Inspecting work for compliance with specifications, regulations and standards. Estimating time scales and
progressions. Collecting data from surveyors. Performing routine computations and plotting preliminary data. Assisting Construction
Managers, Architects and Surveyors in planning and organisation. Interpreting plans, regulations and codes of practice.

Civil Engineering Technician

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Architect to support our in-house Architectural Design Department.

Duties and Responsibilities:-

  • Demonstrated experience in developing design focused houses/townhouse projects which are efficient and quality driven
  • Leading projects from Concept Design through the Development approval,  modification process and construction documentation
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, tracking and reporting progress
  • Building and maintaining council and consultant relationships
  • Prepare detailed drawings, specifications and constructions plans/documentation utilising Revit software
  • Leading and mentoring team members
  • You have a strong and creative portfolio that demonstrates your design and craft experience in architectural projects
  • Must be able to take instructions when briefed from company directors
  • Liaise with relevant Engineers and Consultants (i.e Structural, Services, Fire Engineer, BCA, Environmental)
  • Efficient understanding of local authority codes (DCP and LEP)
  • Has a firm grasp and understanding of the State Environmental Planning Policy (Exempt and Complying Development)
  • Manage all DA and CC applications through to approval. Will also be required to assist with Construction and Occupation Certifications

WHSQE Senior Safety Officer

About the business and the role:

We are a well established residential property developer and builder, specialising in delivering quality homes to Sydney’s Western Suburbs. We have a significant portfolio of town-house subdivisions and apartment projects currently under construction. We also have a large volume of projects slated, assuring you of long term career prospects.

We are seeking an experienced Work Health and Safety Officer who will take pride in our portfolio, keeping our sites to an impeccable standard of safety. This will require familiarization with applicable legislation and the ability to drive a positive culture. It is essential that you have experience in applying your knowledge of safety in the residential property market.

Minimum 3+ years of experience is a MUST in Australia. 

Duties include:

  • Assist the Safety Team to implement WHS&E procedures on our sites
  • Conduct site inductions
  • Review and monitor contractors’ SWMS
  • Oversee general site safety
  • Be the part of site safety meetings
  • Analysing site practice and implementation of improved practices
  • Report and investigate incidents, injuries and hazards and implement agreed control measures
  • Help promote WHS&E awareness on site
  • Ensure compliance with the all Site Management Plans
  • Maintain all WHS&E records for projects on site
  • Work with contractors and site teams to eliminate and reduce workplace risks

To be successful in this role, you will have WHSE&Q experience in the residential building Industry, with a focus on Safe Work Procedures being an advantage. You will be able to establish safe work practices on a building site and take pride in each sites appearance. A current driver’s licence is required.

Some of the key accountabilities will be:

You will be involved in a range of complex land subdivision challenges and responsible for managing our project stakeholders including Local Government, consultants, utility service agencies and civil contractors

An understanding of the land subdivision process, from site acquisition feasibility through to construction and registration of titles;

  • Worked with a tier one or tier two civil or building contractor;
