Due to continued growth, we have an opportunity for an experienced Quality Control Officer.

About the Role:

This is a multi-site role to oversee and ensure our residential properties are delivered to the highest standards and with zero defects.

We want our purchasers to be overwhelmed with excitement when they get the keys to their new home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementing and maintaining the quality of I&TP’s
  • Subcontractor audits and reporting
  • Compiling in-depth defect registers and ensuring each item is closed out
  • Maintaining our Quality Management System
  • Regular reporting to the Executive Team
  • Developing and compiling construction methodology documentation to ensure that repeat defects are eliminated
  • Ensuring that non-conformance is documented and rectified through Non-conformance Reports (NCRs)
  • Using your own experience and skills to train and coach site staff and sub-contractors on correct methodology
  • Producing a defect rectification program
  • Working closely with the WHS&E team to ensure that our sites are safe & clean sites

About You:

You have:

  • 5 years minimum of on-site knowledge in both single dwellings and multi-residential construction in Sydney
  • Civil Construction and/or Residential Building experience
  • Experience in managing a quality management system in the building and construction environment
  • Awareness of relevant Australian Building standards
  • Knowledge about ISO quality standards
  • Enthusiastic, with a positive attitude and focused on customer service and client relationships
  • Flexibility, willingness to learn, friendly, reliable and work effectively in a team environment
  • Computer literate, able to use ipad/tablet or similar
  • Strong personal and interpersonal skills required.
